The rural police today nabbed two persons in connection with the honour killing case in which a girl and her alleged paramour were hacked to death by the girl’s family in Majitha three days ago.

Vikram Jeet Duggal, SSP, said the police nabbed girl’s brother Harpal Singh and cousin Kashu. He added that raids were on to nab the remaining accused.

The family members of deceased Pawan staged a demonstration against the “police failure to nab the culprits” yesterday.

They raised slogans against the police and demanded immediate arrest of the girl’s family members who have been absconding since the brutal murder of the two.
