Moga, July 31

A 17-year old girl has allegedly been kidnapped by a youth from Bukkanwala road in the city, the police said today.

The accused has been identified as Gurpartap Singh alias Gopi, who has reportedly kidnapped the girl with the help of his friend Arshdeep Singh, both residents of the city.

The police have arrested Arshdeep Singh, while Gurpartap and the victim were yet to be traced.

A criminal case under Sections 363 and 366-A of the IPC has been registered against both of them at the local police station. Further investigations are in progress.
