The Regional Passport Office (RPO) is going to organise camps in Abohar and Fazilka next week to handle the rise in applications from pilgrims eager to go to Kartarpur Sahib on the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.

Passport Officer Munish Kapoor said, “As passport is compulsory to visit Kartarpur Sahib, a large number of locals are applying for travel document this year. We have decided to organise camps to accommodate the rush from remote areas such as Abohar and Fazilka”.

A camp will be organised at the ITI, Malout Road, Fazilka, on November 5. Another camp will be organised at DAV College of Education, Hanumangarh Road, Abohar on November 6.
